The Hartwood Painted Deluxe Redwood Overlap Retreat Shed range is more than just a utility garden building. The shed features a steeply pitched roof which adds a distinctive appearance and character while also creating a substantial head room inside. Both roof and floor are constructed from 12mm interlocking and pressure treated tongue and groove boards while the roof is finished with Canadian Red Cedar shingles which are used on high end residential building in Canada. These shingles will eventually turn their colour into a subtle silver shade, and natural oils protect them from insects and rot, giving an approximate life expectancy of 50 years. The floor is mounted onto strong pressure treated bearers that protect the building from the ground contact and protecting the floor from ground moisture. This particular size comes with 2 opening windows that provide abundance of light and create a well aired interior in warm sunny days. These windows can be fitted to open from the side or top, and are glazed with a 4mm thick toughened glass which is a safer alternative to regular glass. Access to the building is via a single door that is secured with a rim lock. This Deluxe Retreat Shed is manufactured from a pressure treated, kiln dried, and smooth planed Redwood timber boards, mounted on a sturdy 45mm x 28mm framework in an overlap construction with a 20mm wall thickness in the area of the timber overlap. This superior shed comes in 2 different sizes (4′ x 6′ & 5′ x 8′) and a selection of 3 colour options (green, grey, cream) that are factory painted. Comes with a 15 year anti-rot guarantee.
